Mosquito nets against malaria

Malaria is one of the most frequent causes of infant death in Africa. This severe illness is transmitted by mosquitos (female anopheles mosquito).

Lots of children fall ill again and again because they do not get any medical aid. Often parents are not able to afford the costs of treatment (please see "Health insurance in Ghana") . So at worst children can possibly die because of malaria.

Best would be to reduce the risk of coming down with malaria. This is possible by using mosquito nets at night.

Mosquitos are active in the evening and during the nights. So it is essential and important to protect while sleeping. Mosquito nets can be fixed easily at the ceiling and will keep away mosquitos while sleeping under it.

Please donate for mosquito nets to protect children (and adults) against malaria.
